PCのめーるのどうさがおそい。変換にも手間取ることが続いています。思いついて受信箱の不要メールを削除して軽くすることに。 毎日30分ほど続けています。16年分のメールですからたいへん。
今日までに500以上は消去しました。で、今日の作業で出てきたメールが素敵なんです。こんなに素敵なメールなのにすっかり忘れていました。
それで、このブログに新しく〈思い出メール〉のカテゴリーを作り、そこにまとめて保存することにしました。それならいつでも見れるし。
記念すべき保存第一号のメールです （14年ほど前のもの）
When I was in high school in Japan, I saved for a long time to purchase the "Love Me - A" woodblock. I worked selling Beer Nuts at the Korakuen Giants stadium during baseball games. I did manage to save enough to buy my beautiful clown before we left Japan. My family then moved many more times (I have moved 18 more times in the past 25 years). I always have kept my woodblock and now have it hanging in my home where my children enjoy it.
I always knew there had been two woodblocks at the gallery where I bought mine. As a young girl, I could only afford the one. I never knew the name of the other woodblock, I just remembered it all this time. Yesterday I was hanging my beautiful clown in my home and decided to search the internet for the other print. I could not believe I found "Imagine - A" online. I am so thankful for the internet!
Please let me know how much it would be to purchase the "Imagine - A" woodblock and how much shipping would be to Iowa, USA (50323). I may have to save again, but the Love Me - A has brought me so much joy for so long, I would be overjoyed to have them hanging together.

かいつまんで内容を。
日本にいた学生時代にギャラリーで見かけた私の版画「Love me 」に心惹かれ、購入するために後楽園球場でビールの売り子のバイトをした。やっと買った版画を今はアメリカの自宅で息子と楽しんでいる。
そのギャラリーにはもう一つ気になる同じようなピエロの版画があった。
ネットで調べたら「Imajine」と分かった。購入したいので（また節約をして）価格を教えて欲しい・・・・・
